Background

• First restaurant was opened in St Kilda in 2001, later followed by the Brunswick then Abbotsford restaurants.
• Runs as a not-for-profit organisation, using excess funds to publish an English/Arabic newspaper and mentor refugees (some of whom work in the restaurants).
• Customers are asked to pay whatever they deem reasonable for their meal - there are no set prices.
